This unique ministry is geared to our single parents.* We want our single parents to know that they are loved and appreciated! Pastor Lisa observed that children of single parents want to get mom or dad a special gift, but don't always have the means to do so. And these kids definitely don't want mom or dad around while they're shopping for their gifts!
So Pastor Lisa created the Just For Mom, Just For Dad, a gift-giving ministry for children of single parents. Children 6-14 years old are welcome to participate. Children are allowed to chose one new gift for their parent, gift-wrap it themselves and create a special hand-made card for their parent. Just For Mom, Just For Dad operates three times a year for Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas.
*Military families with a parent currently on tour are also welcome to participate.
